He’s awesome as a reliever, he’s awesome as a start. But you know, I like Joba Chamberlain as a starter just a little bit more. Why? Come on. When Ian Kennedy went out there how confident were you that the team would win? Or better yet, when Kai Igawa went out there? Exactly, you knew nothing wonderful was going to happen for the team. And it didn’t.

But when Joba has been heading out there, you know the team is in a great position to win. And yes, it’s going to be impossible to replace him in the bullpen. I know that. In my opinion, he was the best relief pitcher in baseball (and I am counting all the closers including Mo and Papelbon). But he is also going to be impossible to replace in the rotation.

Go find a relief pitcher available who can shut an offense down in the late innings like Joba did. Good job, you couldn’t. Now go find a starting pitcher available who can shut down an offense though 6 or more innings the way Joba has. Good job, you couldn’t.

See what I mean? Joba the reliever and Joba the starter are just as amazing. Either one is going to be great. But you gotta pick one. And really, I prefer the ace starter over the ace reliever. In an ideal world. we could clone the dude and have both.

I just wanna say that I am completely fed up with this whole “Going Green” shit. Teesa, Sarah, and I talked about it the other night, and how we’re all annoyed at it. But I’m outright done with it. What’s sad is that it is only going to get worse. It’s been bugging me for about a year.

Now I’m not against doing things to help the environment or conserve energy, but what the fuck is with the fucking catch phrase? Everywhere you go now there are signs for doing things “green” or people saying they are going to “go green.” Look at the title. That’s what you can go do.

There have been environmental messages around my entire life, but people only now give a shit because they tacked on a catch phrase? Wow. You people are fucking pathetic. I hope your hybrid gets run over by a hummer.

To all you people who have been like this for years, props to you. Those who are jumping on the stupid fucking “green” bandwagon….fuck off already. You’re entertained, not caring. Fuck off and die.

Ordered the parts 2 weeks ago, got The Wiz to help me put it together last week, finally got the DvD drive installed yesterday, added all my games, and now…The Beast lives!

That’s right. The grand compy that I have been dreaming of, talking about, waiting for, and other phrases that in end prepositions, is finally up and running. And you know what?

Jedi Academy runs with 90 frames per second. For those who don’t have a concept of that, the best I’ve ever had before was about 45 and that was on a good day, plus it would flux. 45 was like the max, but most of the time I was around 30 and it was go up and down a lot. On this sucker, it is at 90 and it stays at 90. Doesn’t matter how high I set the graphics. Doesn’t matter how complicated a map I’m on. It’s just a solid 90 that for maybe half a second drops to 89 or bumps to 91, but then its right back to 90. It’s amazing. Gone are the days of me being the last one in the server (‘Cause I know you loved making fun of me for that, Lost!)

I got Oblivion on this sucker. I’ve never seen it look for clear before. Itloads in seconds (took minutes sometimes on my old lappy). I’m gonna be loving it on this thing.

Lord of the Rings Online…this is the one I’m most impressed with. I’ve only played the game at medium texture and graphics detail at best, and that was with other settings set low. Everything right now is set to high or highest. I think I saw only one set to medium. It loads faster than before, and holy fucking shit on how great it looks. I didn’t know they put that much detail in the game. I’m so used to seeing my character as shades of colors. Now, I see all the intricate details of his robes and cloak, and I love it!

Have so many other games installed. Some that I’ve never played before because I have so much fucking room on this thing. I have 11 games installed. The hard drive started out with 596 GB to spare. I’m only down to 547. There is so much more room available. Assassin’s Creed for PC? Oh yeah, I want it. Makes me so upset that The Force Unleashed won’t be on PC. Good job, LucasArts. You dropped the ball there.

But it’s OK. This thing really is the Beast I thought it would be and I couldn’t be happier.

All I want to say now (and I’ve said it so many times before, but I’m doing it one last time) a giant thank you to The Wiz. You’re the man.
